When it was first introduced back in 1993, the replica Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph represented the first Royal Oak model with a chronograph function, and its size and specifications earned it the nickname “The Beast”. the 2023 update still retains key elements of the original design, but brings it into the modern era.
It is the first model in the Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph collection to feature the brand’s new self-winding flyback chronograph, the Caliber 4401. There are five variants in total, with a choice of stainless steel, pink gold or titanium case materials. The rose gold version has a black dial, the stainless steel version has a black or light brown dial, and the titanium option has a blue or gray dial colour.
The dial itself is well balanced, with subdials at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock and a date window located between the dial markers at 4 and 5 o’clock. The quick-release strap also allows for visual flexibility.
Some of the other new offerings for 2023 include a variety of Royal Oak best replica watches with green dials. These include the ultra-thin Royal Oak “Jumbo” model made of 950 platinum, and three new models in the self-winding Flying Tourbillon collection.
Perhaps the most prominent new offering in the green hue of the Royal Oak, however, is the new 18-carat yellow gold Royal Oak self-winding chronograph. This particular new offering is a limited edition, with only 125 pieces being sold, and is engraved on the case back with the words “Limited Edition”.
Ultimately, this means that buyers of these different models now have another choice of dial colour, and the green dial contrasts nicely with platinum or yellow gold, providing a sophisticated, eye-catching aesthetic.
